Dubai Agog as A New of Touch Africa Festival beams global focus on Nigeria’s Tourism Potentials
In what many rated as one of the most captivating African centred event they have ever seen, New York based media, entertainment and fashion company, A New Touch of Africa (ANTOA) took the world by storm in Dubai with a perfectly organised cultural fiesta tagged, A New Touch of Africa.
The event which took place over a two-day period from Saturday, November 9, 2019 – Sunday November 10, 2019 at Atlantis The Palm in Jumeirah, Dubai was the First of its kind. Organised to the last details with great finesse. It was indeed an integrated entertainment fiesta with the goal of unveiling Africa, which has been the force driving ANTOA over the years. It was a carefully crafted fusion of fashion, music, food & other cultural activities that kept many reputable Arab Sheiks, international business moguls and other global tourists on the edge of their seats.
Many Nigerian celebrities and entertainers like Tobi Bakry of the Big Brother Naija fame and Gbenga Adeyinka, Comedian of the Federal Republic among many other stars flew in specifically for the event which was designed and coordinated uniquely by Abinibi Event Cottage, a Nigerian team of professionals.
Ofada Boy, who is currently championing the engagement mix to promote Nigeria’s food culture with the ofada rice narrative anchored the African cuisine segment. With admirable dexterity he ensured that the African taste and mix were adequately displayed in their various elements, to depict a real African food cultural style. Guests enjoyed various recipes of African meals, and the satisfaction radiated on their faces added extra colour to the event.
On the fashion walkway, excitement was never lacking as Lagos based Mazelle Studio, D&D Fashion, Dubai based African designer as well as Kenny Fashions based in Benin churned out magnetic styles that kept guests talking and making enquiries all through the event.
Radiating with excitement over the huge success of the Dubai event, CEO of A New Touch of Africa (ANTOA), Dr. Hephzibah Adamu explained that her organisation is focused on a mission to “unveil” Africa to the world.
