This might not be exciting to those who attended the last Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award in Lagos and indeed Nigeria’s entertainment world. The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi said last Tuesday that all participants at the recently held Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award have been exposed to few confirmed cases of coronavirus and would need to go into self-isolation as well as series of tests.

It has been revealed that some of the cases of COVID 19 have confessed that they mixed freely at the event while they still carried the virus.

The AMVCA 7 was held on March 14 at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Abayomi, who stated this in a string of tweets, advised all attendees to observe strict self-isolation.

Of the 42 recorded COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, 29 are in Lagos, as of the time of filing this report.
