COVID 19: casinos, cinemas, salons now free to operate in South Africa
South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Wednesday casinos, cinemas, personal care services and resorts/accommodations will be allowed to operate fully as the country further eases coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
Ramaphosa added during his televised address to the nation that restaurants will now be allowed to offer sit-down services.
A date of when all other sectors will be re-opened will be announced in due course, he said.
South Africa has been at the fore-front in promoting a prompt but guided opening of African economies since the COVID 19 pandemic occurred.
