Pastor Ighodalo break silence on wife’s death as Politicians, Celebrities reacts
The Senior Pastor of Trinity House Church, pastor Ituah Ighodalo has
broken silence over his wife’s death which occurred yesterday. He
broke the silence via a video he shared on social media.
Speaking on her death, Pastor Ighodalo, while officiating a burial
service in his church, said the news of his wife’s death at 2am
shattered his life. “The news of my wife’s demise at 2am, shattered my
life. Life is a mystery which no one would ever understand. We do not
have control over most things in life, how you were born, which womb
you came from and your race. Life is a deep mystery no one even as
wise as Solomon can tell you they understand life. There is going to
come a time when we will see clearly as Jesus sees. Nobody has control
over life, this time yesterday if anyone had told me this is how it
will be i would have said it is impossible. Life is nothing.”
Daily Post and The Cable Lifestyle, reports that the ex-queen, former
Miss Lux, and a seasoned event planner, Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo, died on
Sunday morning in Port Harcourt after suffering a cardiac arrest in
her sleep. She was to mark her 40th birthday on July 19, 2020. Ibidun,
before her death was working in Bayelsa and Rivers States, assisting
with the building of isolation centres for COVID-19 patients. She is
the founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, a non-profit organization
created to raise awareness on issues pertaining to infertility. The
foundation also provides grants for couples that require fertility
treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intrauterine
One of the families of the deceased, stated, “The Ighodalo and
Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss
of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who
passed away in the early hours of today. As you will understand, this
is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some
privacy during this time. All information of burial plans will be
provided in due course.
Reacting to her death, some Nigerian politicians and celebrities
stated, Media entrepreneur, Funmi Iyanda, states, “This saddens me.
She was a truly sweet and open soul. I vividly remember her bravery
sharing a deeply personal story on new dawn around 2004/5.My
condolences to her family. There is no true divide between life and
death, walk on Queen”.
