ANTOA POETRY: The World I Give

The World I Give

Pain is exactly what I may look like,

But my family raised me with joy

In my heart.

I came into this world like a big bang

With a big bag of goodies.

In it are precious stones: diamonds

Gold, and jade.

Everyday everybody gets one.

Just gimme some love.

That’s my currency for trade.

Plus, you get a bonus smile 🙂

I wear a sad face but not my heart.

I only woke up feeling sad for a world

Where humans and joy play hide and seek.
