
Garet Bale has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a year loan deal from Real Madrid.
The player was bought from Tottenham a few years back from Spurs and has achieved major fit with Madrid.
He had previously worn the number 11 shirt at White Hart Lane but will now wear the number 9 shirt during the duration of his contract with the club.
As announced “We are delighted to announce the return of @GarethBale11 to the Club on a season-long loan from Real Madrid!” Tottenham’s official Twitter page tweeted.
Signed as a Seventeen years old from Southampton in 2007. He left for Madrid on a then world-record transfer and returned to North London after seven years.
Bale made 203 appearances for the Spurs competitions, scoring 55 goals before leaving in 2013.
