Popular Nigerian entertainment couple; music mogul Banky Wellington and his wife, Nollywood sweetheart, Adesua, recently celebrated the newest addition to their family as they welcomed their first child, Zaiah Wellington.
The union of Bankole Wellington and Adesua Etomi in 2017, was one which pretty much “broke the internet” with the #BAAD2017 hash-tag. It elicited widespread excitement among several hundreds of thousands of people, especially as many were not privy to the already existing romantic relationship between the two.

The first glimpse of their being involved romantically, for many, if not most, was definitely the record breaking box office success The Wedding Party released under EbonyLife Films in 2016 and starring both Banky and Adesua.
Their relationship has been considered by many to be a model relationship as they are seen to complement each other and in more ways are one, are a “cute couple”. They have both also been involved in youth activism and were very vocal during the #EndSARS protests of October 2020-further endearing themselves to many.
Announcing Zaiah Wellington’s Arrival
The arrival of their son Zaiah, was made publicly known yesterday, the 22nd of February 2021, four weeks after the delivery. The couple had kept Zaiah’s arrival a public secret until Monday, which so happened to be the day marking Adesua’s birthday. The reveal was made in an Instagram post in which she said:
“You have a track record of keeping your word. Ọlọrun agbaye o, you are mighty”.
4 weeks ago I received the best birthday gift ever. Our Son.
1+1=3 🥰🥰🥰

There are yet no pictures of Zaiah shared to the public domain and so many people are yet to see the baby’s features. One thing is certain though; the Banky and Adesua duo are elated and highly excited about this new addition to their family!
