In an exclusive interview, we had a chance to learn more about how she started.

Favour in her compound setting out to design an eco-friendly product using a vehicle tyre.

INTERVIEW WITH FAVOUR OLUMA

We have seen how beautiful you make vehicle tyres look these days and that we can comfortably sit on them too.

So tell us how you got this brilliant idea?

My products came into existence during the lockdown, when I was home doing nothing.

I decided to make beautiful furniture out of used tyres after seeing so many in my compound.

Do you have any investors so far? And how have you been able to pull this up amid Covid-19 without any support from the government?

Yes I’ve gotten request from investors, but we are yet to sign the deal. I was able to pull up this during the Covid-19 because of the support I got from the people who patronized me.

You’re inspiring people with these artistic decorations. We’ve also spotted international interest via LinkedIn. How does this make you feel?

It makes me feel amazing, excited and hardworking 🙂

What’s your message for young women like you?

Keep doing what you love. Never give up and the sky will be your starting point.
