
Barely one month after he was rumoured dead, veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, attained the age of 78 on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Wife, celebs and fans saturated the social media all through the weekend to celebrate a star that has given a lot to the Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
His excited wife, Joke Silva, took to her Instagram page to give gratitude to God for his life. She uploaded a slideshow which contained pictures of Jacobs over the years, including at the wedding of one of their children. She captioned the post, “Hey birthday boy. To God the father be all the glory.”
Several celebrities have also congratulated Jacobs on social media. Actor, Richard Mofe Damijo wrote, “Uncle Jay, happy birthday. Pathfinder.” Actress, Dakore Egbuson added, “Baba o!Happy birthday uncle Olu.”
Omotola Jalada-Ekeinde wrote, “Baba. Happy birthday sir.” Susan Peters said, “Happy birthday daddy.” On her part, Yolanda Okereke, added, “Happy birthday big daddy. God bless you.”
