
Veteran on-air personalities in Ghana, Nathaniel Attoh, and Naa Ashorkor Menah-Doku, have been named as the official hosts of this year’s 5th EMY Awards.
Scheduled for July 4th, the EMY Awards event will be held virtually in order to obey the social distancing rules necessitated by the Coronavirus panemic. The organizers had acknowledged that this will be most suitable as we are not in normal times.
The 2020 Exclusive Men of the Year Awards will be aired on Joy FM and all EMY Africa social media pages. The event will welcome great music icons in Ghana like Akwaboah, King Promise, Efya, Joe Mettle and Tagoe Sisters to thrill viewers with scintillating performances, while having a perfect host for the event to make it a memorable one.
The EMY Awards has over the past five years honored and celebrated prominent men including those who have impacted society.
Nathaniel Attoh, also known as “Citizen Attoh”, is a Ghanaian professional master of ceremonies, international boxing ring announcer, and television and radio broadcaster. He is known for the radio show ” Joy Sports Link” on Joy 99.7 FM Ghana.
