Historically, society has relegated women to the sidelines of events. However, there have been women who have been beacons of power and of heroism, challenging the order. Today being the International Women’s Day, we celebrate these amazing amazons.

Countless women across the world have broken grounds in science, technology, art and many more areas one can think of.

According to Countrymeters, the current world’s population is 7.8 billion (still counting) with females occupying 49.5%.

As the world is growing and changing everyday, women from every angle of the planet are greatly changing the status quo.

Today being International Women Day, the media tag #ChooseToChallenge is revolving around our planet inspiring young women to see beyond any form of weaknesses and social biases, while adding value and contributing to global growth positively.

International Women Day 2021 is themed on encouraging women to challenge gender stereotypes and call out gendered actions and assumptions equally.

While the status quo is challenged, this day also reminds us of global achievements brought to limelight by the collective efforts of women and men from different parts of the world irrespective of our race, geography, history, and culture amid the climatic shocks and the pandemic.
