Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, resigned his membership from the
ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday. Obaseki announced
his resignation after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the
Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He said he will in days to come announce the new political platform
where he will be seeking his re-election soon.
The governor was disqualified by the party’s National Working
Committee (NWC) from recontesting in the governorship election.
