Nigeria on Friday crossed the one thousand mark as 114 persons tested positive for the coronavirus with one new death. There are now 1095 confirmed cases of the virus while 208 persons have recovered and 32 deaths have occurred.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, said Lagos, the epicentre of the disease in Nigeria, recorded 80 of the new cases. Gombe got 21, FCT 5, Zamfara 2, Edo 2, while Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto recorded one each.
