
Nigerian international striker Stephen Odey has suffered defeat in his debut game with his new club Amiens FC of France.
Odey joined the French Ligue 2 side on Friday on a year loan deal from Belgium Jupiler League side RKC Genk with an option of a permanent move.
Amiens FC lost to their rival, Paris FC 2-1 in the French Division 2 league clash.
The lanky player started the game from the bench and was introduced for Cheiki Timite in the 45th minute of the match.
Odey started his professional career at NPFL side, MFM FC of Lagos before joining Zurich and then move to Genk in Belgium.
Former U23 player is expected to play an active role this season as Amiens continues its push for promotion to the Ligue one.
